What is the Purpose of Extended Learning?

The purpose of the Extended Learning program is to provide alternatives or supplements to students who, as a result of their exceptional abilities, demonstrate a need for and can profit from a differentiated, gifted program. 

 

Ms. Agnew’s Basic Schedule

7:30-10:30 a.m. at Glacier Valley
10:30-11:30 a.m. clean up/travel/set up between schools and preparation time
11:30-3:00 p.m. at Mendenhall River

The Khan Academy is a nonprofit educational resource that offers an extensive library of content for FREE. Students can take advantage of interactive challenges, assessments, and videos.

Fascinating talks to spur curiosity.  Need to watch with parental guidance as some talks are not appropriate for kids.
